Where to Shop
Soap made in town, hats shaped to order, crystals and vintage records: shopping in Idyllwild is a few minutes' walk along North Circle Drive, with small shops close enough to browse in an afternoon.
The village on foot
Park once, then explore the village on foot. Most shops are within a couple of blocks of IdyPark at the center of town; from the flagpole to Mountain Paws is just a few minutes’ walk, if you can resist stopping to browse.
Much of what you’ll find is made right here on the Hill, from soap and pottery to leather goods and custom hats. Hours vary by season, and many shops are closed for a day midweek, so check hours before you make a special trip.
Where to start
Short on time? Head to the Fort or the Village Center for a good mix of shops in a single spot. Or design a hat at Hallolokx, crack a geode at The Rock Shoppe, check the ever-changing clothes at El Sereno Mercantile, and swing by Mountain Paws for a Mayor Max dog biscuit.
